Government Warning: Substandard Materials Used In Gas Pipelines!

I don't even know what to say about this!

We have pipelines all over the place, running through our neighborhoods and right next to homes, businesses, schools and churches. Who knows what will happen to those pipelines and connections with all the recent earthquakes--even the minor quakes. Now we learn that the pipelines were likely built with inferior materials. What's next?

Here's a pipeline and gas compressor map:

Clearly, Big Oil is a rouge rogue industry that needs regulation.

Looks line nobody regulates what is inside the pipelines--why would you, for a moment, think that anybody regulates what the pipelines are made out of?? Oil companies are on the loose--it's like the old wild, wild, west--they do whatever they want to! Want to complain, get ready to be ruined!

But natural gas pipelines are already regulated by the FERC, individual states, and PHMSA (from your article).

Do they need more regulation or is the current work enough?

FERC is NOT a safety agency. If anything, they are more like a natural gas advisory board, urging more use of it.

PHMSA writes regulations for pipelines. But, parts of the enforcement is up to the states.
